BääBää®️ Online Store Terms of Use

These terms of use ("Terms") define the conditions and rules for using BääBää®️'s online store ("Online Store"). Using the Online Store requires acceptance of these Terms. Please read the Terms carefully before making a purchase.

Using the Online Store requires that the user is of legal age or otherwise legally competent in their country of residence. By using the Online Store, you agree to comply with these Terms. Using the Online Store requires a working internet connection and a compatible device, the acquisition and functionality of which are the user's responsibility.

 

  1. Products and Prices

The products sold in the Online Store are BääBää®️’s own products, such as sheepskins, rugs, and clothing. The products and prices shown on the website may change without notice. The website may also contain errors or omissions, which will be corrected as soon as possible. We reserve the right to cancel an order if, for example, there is a pricing error at the time of purchase.

 

  1. Ordering a Product and Contract

By placing an order, you enter into a binding sales contract with BääBää®️. After accepting the order, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your order.

 

  1. Payment

The Online Store accepts several different payment methods. The Online Store uses reliable payment service providers and encrypted connections to ensure the security of transactions. The payment service providers of our online store are Paytrail and Shopify Payments.

 

  1. Delivery and Shipping Costs

Delivery time varies depending on the product and delivery address. Delivery time is stated separately for each product.

Shipping Costs in Finland:
All orders within Finland (excluding Åland Islands) are delivered free of charge with no minimum order value.

Shipping Costs for International Orders:

  • Free shipping when the order value exceeds 400€
  • Zone 1 shipping fee is €14.90 (Åland Islands, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, and Germany)
  • Zone 2 shipping fee is €19.90 (Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Austria, Greece, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, France, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary)
  • If you would like to place an order from a country not listed, please contact our customer service

For international orders under 400€, the applicable shipping cost will be shown at checkout after entering the delivery address. The shipping cost is determined based on the destination.

BääBää®️ is not responsible for any delivery delays or disruptions caused by third parties, such as shipping services, strikes, or public holidays. We deliver within Finland and internationally.

Free shipping does not apply to B2B orders.

 

  1. Returns and Right of Withdrawal

Products purchased from our Online Store are subject to a right of withdrawal (14 days) in accordance with the Finnish Consumer Protection Act, unless otherwise stated. You must always contact our customer service before returning a product. The returned product must be in its original condition, unused, and in its original packaging. Refunds and returns are handled separately according to return instructions. The customer is responsible for any costs related to returns. Please read our return policy carefully before placing an order.

Returns in Finland

The customer is responsible for the return shipping costs, which is a fixed fee of 13.90€ within mainland Finland (excluding Åland Islands).

International Returns 

The customer is responsible for the return costs of orders shipped outside Finland. The price depends on the size of the shipment and the country from which the return is made. You can find out the exact return cost by contacting our customer service – please let us know from which country the return is being made.

Zone 1: Åland Islands, Sweden, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Denmark, and Germany. Return cost: 14.90 – 34.90€.

Zone 2: Netherlands, Belgium, Spain, Italy, Austria, Greece, Luxembourg, Malta, Monaco, Portugal, France, Slovakia, Slovenia, and Hungary. Return cost: 24.90 – 46.90€.

 

  1. Product Liability and Complaints

After receiving the product, please inspect it carefully. If the product is defective, incorrect, or damaged, contact our customer service as soon as possible. Complaints must be made within 14 days of delivery.

Product images and descriptions on the website are presented as realistically and accurately as possible. However, we do not guarantee that the colors and proportions displayed on the customer’s screen match reality, as display settings, brightness, and color profiles may affect the appearance. BääBää®️ is not responsible for any differences between the actual colors of the products and how they appear on the customer's screen. BääBää®️ is not liable for minor differences in color or appearance between the actual products and the images presented on the website.

BääBää®️ complies with all applicable data protection laws and protects customers’ personal data. Information collected during orders in the Online Store is processed confidentially and used only for order fulfillment and customer service purposes. All content on the website, such as images, text, and logos, is the property of BääBää®️ and protected by copyright. This content may not be used without our prior written permission. Website content, including images, text, or logos, may not be copied, distributed, or otherwise used for anything other than private use. All commercial use or reproduction without written permission is strictly prohibited.

 

  1. Liability for Damages

By using or distributing BääBää®️'s website content (baabaa.fi) without written permission, the user agrees to fully compensate all damages, costs, and losses resulting from unauthorized use. This includes, but is not limited to, direct and indirect financial damages, legal fees, and other possible consequences. BääBää®️ reserves the right to take legal action in the event of unauthorized use or distribution of its content.

 

  1. Limitation of Liability

BääBää®️ is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages, losses, or costs resulting from the use of the Online Store, use of the products, or the unavailability of the Online Store. BääBää®️ does not guarantee that the Online Store will operate without interruptions or errors.

BääBää®️ is not responsible for delays or breaches of contract caused by circumstances beyond our control (such as strikes, natural disasters, epidemics, transportation disruptions, government regulations, or other force majeure events). If such an event continues for more than 30 days, both parties have the right to terminate the contract without liability for damages.

BääBää®️ is not responsible for the content, policies, or privacy practices of third-party websites. Providing such links does not imply endorsement or recommendation of those websites or their content. The customer uses third-party websites at their own risk.

  1. Custom Orders and B2B Orders

Custom orders refer to commissioned items, individually manufactured products, or larger tailored orders that differ from the regular Online Store selection. Orders made for business customers (B2B) are also considered custom orders. Delivery costs for custom orders are charged according to the delivering partner's pricing.

Custom and B2B orders are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Protection Act, as the products are made or reserved specifically according to the customer's instructions and preferences.

All custom and B2B orders are binding from the time of ordering.
In case of complaints, defects, or contract-related issues, please contact our customer service immediately after receiving the order.

 

  1. Validity and Changes

These Terms remain valid until replaced by new ones. BääBää®️ reserves the right to change the Terms at any time. The updated Terms take effect immediately upon publication.

 

  1. Applicable Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by Finnish law. Any disputes will primarily be resolved through negotiation. If no resolution is reached, the dispute can be submitted to the Consumer Disputes Board in Finland.
